I just got my Salt Water fabric in today from I don't do dishes... I sew instead  I was the lucky winner during the sew mama sew giveaway, when Caitlin at I don't do dishes gave away 3 Salt Water bundles.  Thank you Caitlin I love my beautiful fabric and can't wait to start making this oh so pretty quilt.

I hadn't given much thought to this pattern, but now I'm kind of excited about this QAL:) I'm afraid I don't know very much about Greece, but anywhere sounds like a welcome change from the Canadian winter I'm experiencing right now.   2. I love this fabric and pattern. I saw it on Pinterest recently and added it to my "want to make" quilt list.

    I would love to set my anchor to visit anywhere in Greece and the surrounding islands and countries, but I if I could only pick one harbor it would be in below Athens where I could trek the ancient path up to the Parthenon.

  7. What a gorgeous quilt Anchors Aweigh is! I've never been to Greece but I'd love to go. I'd love to start at one end of the country and drop anchor at several places along the way around. Maybe starting in the Amvraki Gulf through to the Thermaikos Gulf. (Ok, I googled Greece, hehe.)

  15. I love to sew but I also love to read. One of my favourite books is The Island by Victoria Hislop and so I would love to visit Spinalonga. I found it captivating and a tour of the island and the nearby mainland would be perfect for me. Thanks for such a pretty giveaway. Your cushions are cute, I adore making hexagons too using EPP.

  20. I am a new follower. I love that fabric...You were such a lucky girl to win all of that...I am not very familiar with Greece. I live in South Carolina, USA. But I do love to eat greek food. So I would love to go anywhre in Greece and see any of the sights and eat and eat and eat somemore. I love baklava..I even made it onetime. And I love to eat sluvakia ( I think thatis how it is spelled.) And while their I would want to look at any and every store that sold facbrics to see what kinds of fabrics your country has to offer...Are they the same things we have in the USA or are they like different somehow...Is that big ruin in the picture calle dthe acropolis. I would love to tour it for sure. I woud love to win your giveaway. Ever since I saw those fabrics osted I have been in love with them.

  34. I have only been to Greece once in my life...many years ago, and it was to Athens and the local vicinity. I would love to travel to one of the islands, in the summer. One of my friends is building a home there, so I expect as I become an empty nester, we will meet up over there one of these days!

If I had to choose, I would love to anchor my dream boat on Evia (I had to google search for some great islands) because it sounds a little more peaceful and less touristy than the other places (although I would love to see the tourist spots too).
